Dear Festivalgoer,
THEME: This is a Family orientated Festival, come as you will, enjoy the artists, the music, the setting in the Peak District and the atmosphere!
TICKET DELIVERY:
‘Earlybird’ Tickets may be purchased either directly from the www.bamf.co.uk ‘online shop’ or from other Ticket Agencies shown on the BAMF website.
NOTE: There are NO booking charges when using the www.bamf.co.uk ‘online’shop’.
Tickets can be purchased by Credit/Debit Card using the Pay Pal system from the www.bamf.co.uk ‘online shop’.
NOTE: Ticket/s may be ordered from January 2011 ( a confirmation receipt will be sent ) but the actual Ticket/s will be posted out at the end May 2011.
After May 2011 all Ticket/s ordered will be confirmed and posted by the next day post
NOTE: Any tickets purchased after Friday 6th August 2011 from the BAMF ‘online shop’ site will be available for collection at the Showground Festival Entrance.
Gigantic Tickets have their own booking - system-please check with them
We do not send tickets to PO Boxes under any circumstances.
NOTE: If your tickets do not arrive when expected:-
A) Please check with your local postal sorting office to see if they have been received there - if they were to be signed for and nobody was in.

We keep a record of all Purchasers names and the Date Ticket/s posted and can follow through - if there are any problems.
NOTE: CHILDREN UNDER 15 accompanied by an adult are admitted free ( we reserve the right to check ID )
WRISTBANDS: You will be given your wristbands at the gate of entry
NOTE: NO DOGS ( unless licensed Guide Dogs )
NOTE: NO ALCOHOL can be brought into licensed area.
CARAVANNING AND CAMPING INFORMATION:
The Showground Site will be:
Open from 12am Friday 12th August 2011
Yes you can stay until 12pm Monday 15th April 2011
NOTE: Camping and Parking are FREE: - yes you can park your car next to your tent.
NOTE: There will be a Family camping area set aside.
NOTE: Apart from normal barbeque equipment - no open fires are allowed
NOTE: We will have Toilets, Standpipes ( no showers ) next to campsite
NOTE: Bakewell Town is 5mins from site with Supermarkets and Restaurants.
NOTE: There will be a nice selection of food, bars and general stalls available on site + some items of interest for younger children in our separate acoustic tent
NOTE: We have a separate acoustic tent – don’t forget to bring your guitar
DIRECTIONS: The Bakewell Showground Site CAN ONLY BE ENTERED from the main A6 Bakewell to Matlock Rd. See on location map DE45 1AH- Zoom slightly out and you will see the main road entrance from the A6 . ( NOTE: Whatever your Sat Nav shows you tells you there is no entrance via the narrow Coombes Road at the rear of the Bakewell Showground site - turning/reversing is difficult )
ARRIVAL AT SHOWGROUND SITE: ( 5 minutes from the centre of Bakewell )
There will be Festival signs to guide you and a yellow jacketed Marshall at the showground A6 entrance. Please follow the Marshall’s directions as we are allowed only certain areas of the Showground for caravans, camping and parking – the rest of the Showground comes under DDDC Parking Charges.
RAILWAY STATIONS: Nearest Matlock 6 miles, Grindleford 10 miles , Chesterfield 12miles and Buxton16 miles
BUSES/TAXIS: There are services from Matlock, Chesterfield and Buxton to Bakewell
FRIDAY EVENING PERFORMANCES:
As we know many of you will be travelling long distances and then setting up your camping space - we will not be starting the Shows on Friday night till 18.00 ( 6.pm )
