Stuart Carter-Smith (Solo Guitar) Stuart started playing the guitar when he was 18 years old--rather late for a gypsy guitarist considering most of his peers were playing by the age of 7! Although he played, studied and performed classical guitar at first he quickly fell in love with the music of the guitar genius Django Reinhardt. Most of all he learned was by listening to the records of his newly found hero, Django. like many of his contemporaries, Stuart loves to improvise, and like many of his predecessors, he is searching for new challenges. He likes to try new ways of playing, but always with the solid underpinning of his first love: the music of Django Reinhardt. (Violin)

Gypsy Fire has enthralled audiences at a variety of venues throughout the world. They are equally at home playing as an acoustic duo (2 Guitars) in a candlelit restaurant as when they are playing as a Quintet (3 Guitars, Violin, Double Bass) at larger events and festivals. Ben Travers (Solo Guitar)
Ben was introduced to the guitar at an early age by his father who was classically trained. His influences could not be more diverse including Preston Reed, Andy Timmons and Steve Lukather to name a few. He attended the ACM in 2000 and later graduated acheiving a higher diploma in guitar. Ben's constant drive for new challenges led him to the music of Django Reinhardt .
